At Exe HC we run a large number of hockey sessions specifically for players under the age of 18. Our aim is to promote safe, fun hockey for all, which allows young players to develop to their full potential. Full details about the times and sessions can be found in detail below, reading this is a 'must' since things have changed for this year!
NEWS
The Boys Under 13 team managed to get their first win of the year when they recently played in the mini hockey league at Exeter Isca School. The confidence they took from winning a game saw them also manage to hold a lively Ashmoor Under 13s to a 1-1 draw in an end to end last game, which gave the crowd plenty to cheer! The boys resumed their hockey in the New Year with some more tricky encounters in their league on the Ashmoor Pitches. They all enjoyed the day, but this time only managed to score one goal....something they are determined to improve upon by their next League day.
The Exe Girls Under 11 team enjoyed the sunshine and the exhilaration of topping the Under 11 league on Sunday 18th November, when they played their second series of games in the new league structure at the Exmouth Community College pitch.
They might be young but they know what to do!
They weren`t the only Exe youngsters doing us all proud though! The Under 15 girls and the Under 18 girls also did us all proud on the same day, but in Exeter, playing in the EH Youth Cup competitions.
The Under 15`s look totally joyous after dominating their cup game against Bath Buccs U15`s and coming away 5-2 winners!
Exe Under 18s beat Bath Buccs 7-1 in their first round EH Cup encounter and amazingly repeated the same high flying blitz on Clifton Under 18s in the second round of the same competition on Sunday 18th Nov!
They are seen below relaxing after the Clifton game. Clearly White is their 7 goal lucky kit!

The team got to the last 8 in the competition and only narrowly missed out on making the finals, when they lost to Halseton Magpies.
